Is AquaRiver PY already producing fish?
No. The project is in a pre-feasibility study. There are no facilities, no fish and no sales.
Where will the cages be?
No site has been chosen yet. Stretches of the Paraguay River and connected backwaters are being studied; the decision depends on field studies and on the authorities.
Which species will you farm?
For the river, only species native to the basin. The main species under evaluation is pacu; boga is being evaluated as an alternative.
Will you farm tilapia in the river?
No. The law prohibits farming exotic species in natural watercourses. An exotic species could only be evaluated in a confined land-based facility.
Do you have permits?
None has been requested yet. The preliminary matrix identifies about 30 requirements before various authorities.
Can I request a quote?
Yes. At this stage the reply is indicative and helps size demand; it is not a firm offer.
Can I invest?
We do not make public offerings. If you are interested in becoming a partner, you can register your interest and we will contact you; documents are shared in a private area under a confidentiality agreement.
What is the traceability code?
A code printed on the label of each product batch that shows its origin and checks. It will work once there is production.
